The Aerial Manufacturing Co. of
Great Britain and Ireland
The Aerial Manufacturing Co, of Great Britain and Ireland,
located in Finsbury, North London, built a monoplane in 1909 designed by W.J. Potter and which featured a form of retractable
undercarriage. In 1910, the Aerial Manufacturing Co created an unusual T-shaped aircraft hanger, which they claimed have
more efficient use of space than a traditional rectangular type.
