Long-range bomber for the RAF, originally designated Lancaster B.Mk.IV, to meet the requirements of Specification B.14/43. Four 1,750 h.p. Rolls-Royce Merlin 85 powerplants.
Type 694 Lincoln B.Mk.II Originally designated Lancaster B.Mk.V; as the B.Mk.I with 1,750 h.p. Packard Merlin 68, 68A or 300 powerplants.
Type 694 Lincoln U.Mk.5
 
Drone conversion of B.Mk.II, to meet the requirements of Specification D.171D&P. Conversion by Avro using kits supplied by Flight Refuelling Ltd.
Type 694 Lincoln B.Mk.XV Canadian built equivalent of the B.Mk.I.
Type 694 Lincoln Mk.30 Australian built equivalent of the B.Mk.I.

Type 694 Lincoln MR.31 Anti-submarine warfare and maritime reconnaissance version of Mk.31.
 

Lincoln B.2 Suffixes

Lincoln B.2 received suffixes to the mark number to indicate the radar fit:
B.2/3G indicated that the aircraft had H2S Mk.IIIG, Gee Mk.II and Rebecca Mk.II.
B.2/4A had H2S Mk.IVA, Gee Mk.II and either Rebecca Mk.II or Mk.IV.


Projected Variants

Type 694 Lincoln ASR.Mk.III A.S.R. variant; became the Shackleton.
Type 694 Lincoln B.Mk.IV Similar to B.Mk.II with Rolls-Royce Merlin 85 powerplants.
Type 694 Lincoln MR.32 A.S.R. variant featuring radar and MAD tail similar to the Neptune.
Type 712 Lincoln meteorological aircraft to meet the requirements of OR.259.
Type 717 Lincoln test-bed with two Napier Nomad powerplants in the outer nacelles.
