History

William Beedle (born 1861 in Kilburn, London, died 1931) and Wallace Batty Spiers (Wallace Batty Wallace-Spiers after September 1913, born 1868 in St. Pancras, London, died 14 Sep 1944 in Kent), director of Wallace Spiers and Co. Ltd., were reported as testing a hydroplane at Spiers home in Garston, near Watford, Hertfordshire in 1913. Nothing more was heard.
