Produced Variants

Birmingham Guild BG-100/12 Gypsy Single seat sailplane featuring foam core metal skined wing of 12m span.
Birmingham Guild BG-135 Gypsy Initial production version. As BG-100/12 but with an all metal wing with leading edge torque box and fabric covering aft.
Yorkshire Sailplanes YS-55 Consort As BG-135 with minor fuselage and controls changes.
Swales SD3-15 BG-135 re-engineered for simpler production and featuring a new 15m span wing.
Swales SD3-15V Original V-tailed SD3-15 redesignated upon the introduction of the SD3-15T.
Swales SD3-15T SD3-15 with a T-tail.
