Two seat carrier-based torpedo bomber and reconnaissance biplane to meet the requirements of Specification M.1/30. One 825 h.p. Rolls-Royce Buzzard IIIMS V-12 powerplant.
Type B.3 'M.1/30A'
 
 
Three seat Private venture derivative of the original B.3, unofficially designated 'M.1/30A'. All metal semi-monocoque fuselage and redesigned lower wing of lesser span and chord. Additional seating for a rear gunner. One 825 h.p. Rolls-Royce Buzzard IIIMS V-12 powerplant.
