H. Burton

History

Flight [1] reported 'Mr. Horace Burton has been experimenting on Devon Hill, Belvoir, with a biplane glider which he has built. It is of 24 ft. span the chord of the main planes being 5 ft., while the biplane tail, placed 18 ft. behind the main planes, is 6ft. 6 ins. by 3 ft. 6 ins.'

This presumably refers to one Horace Wilford Burton, born 1887, died Oct 1931 in Grantham, Lincolnshire. No further details of Mr Burton or his glider are known.
