Berrisford
Ernest James Berrisford (or possibly Beresford) built a
motorcycle based aeroplane in 1912, probably intended to be used as an act in public displays as Berrisford had a motorcycle
circus act under the name "The Great Diavolo". Nothing appears to have come of this.
Berrisford had earlier
associations with aviation, acting as assistant to a "Captain" Clayton of Mansfield.
