Notes
- Terrier 2 and 3 models were produced under the BEAGLE name and C/n's follow the BEAGLE numbering sequence.
- For ferrying from St. Athan to Beagle's maintenance base at Kiddlington, TW568, TW629, TW642, VF631 and VW996 were allocated civil registrations G-ARLM-R respectively. VF631 arrived on 3 May 1961, the other four having arrived on 20 April.
TW568 (G-ARLM) and TW629 (G-ARLN) were immediately put into storage, eventually emerging as Terrier 2's G-AYDW (c/n B.646) in 1970, and EI-ARO (c/n B.645) in 1967. Their ferry registrations were reallocated, G-ARLM to VF631 (c/n 2573), which originally wore G-ARLP for ferrying, and G-ARLN to WE558, when both of these were converted to Terrier 1's in 1961.
TW642 retained its registration G-ARLO and c/n 2500 when it was converted to a Terrier 1. Likewise, VW996 retained its ferry registration G-ARLR on conversion to a Terrier 2 in 1962, but gained a new c/n, initially 3721 in the Auster series, but soon replaced by B.601 in the Beagle system [11]. - Between 1937 and 1945, Production Specifications were designated by the type and mark of aircraft, suffixed by the letter P and a sequence number identifying the individual order, i.e. "Auster 6/P1", was the 1st Production Specification for the Auster 6. (Note the aircraft type has been omitted from the table for convenience). Note that the Production Specification related to one Mark can be extended to include another (see Mk.VI produced under Spec Auster IV/P1).
