Notes

  1. The ex military serials are correct but the exact correlation between them and the civil registrations for these 5 aircraft is likely, but uncertain.
  2. G-ANWW, Ex VS512, was originally designated Mk.XX but redesignated Avro 19 Series 1 in July 1955. However, since the T.20 would have been built with a metal wing, this author assumes this to be a mistake and the aircraft should be considered an Avro 19 Series 2.
  3. From the Historic CCAR Project [13], with respect to Canadian built Ansons; "Note that Anson c/n’s are unreliable.  First of all, not all the manufacturer’s c/n’s are known.  Secondly, the often quoted c/n's (particularly those in the BRC and BRU series) are actually section serial numbers.  The Mk V Anson fuselage was assembled from five sections (A to E), manufactured by Cockshutt Moulded Aircraft Ltd (BRC series) and Universal Moulded Products Corp (BRU series)." Like the Historic CCAR Project, even though these identifications are not true c/n’s, they are repeated here.
  4. Per Surtivant [1], it may be presumed that the five Ansons SU-ACX, 'ACY, 'ADB, 'ADH and 'ADI were ex DG770, DJ283, LT251, LT283 and LT285, all sold to Misr Airwork in 1945. The relationship between Egyptian registration and the original RAF serial is unknown.
